The tangential nature of my work is the physical manifestation of how my mind switches mediums. Each shift is an attempt to find a way for the ever present demons of life to exist within restrictions of normalcy.
I am interested in how humor and monstrosity can coalesce into imagined worlds of visual drama. Simultaneously, there remains a constant tension within these fantastical scenes between rich patterns and open space; the familiar and the distorted.
